After a
full safety briefing and taking control of your powerful, fully automatic
ATV in the desert of Al Awir village, head out on a full throttle action
deep into the Dubai desert. En-route pass by Lahbab, a small Bedouin
village where there are camel race tracks and then on to a lovely desert
village ‘Tawi Nazwa’. Take a brief photo-stop here and a light
breakfast. From Tawi Nazwa we ride on to ‘Big Red’ an amazing
and naturally beautiful spot with some of UAE’s best dunes. Its
rolling, sandy tracks lead to towering sand dunes which will challenge
your dune riding skills. Dune bashing your way over them on ATV is an
exhilarating and one of its kind experience. After climbing over
‘Big Red’, take a photo-stop and savor the fantastic views of
the Dubai Desert and take photos of riders and its surroundings. We will
then proceed towards ‘Pink Rock’ so known because the color of
the rock is pinkish via a small pass on the hill with sandy tracks to go
down the other side of the hill. Picnic lunch will be provided enroute.
Roar on aboard your ATV towards ‘Al Faya’ another lovely,
small desert village. The desert landscape between ‘Pink Rock’
and ‘Al Faya’ is flat with desert vegetation consisting mainly
of bushes. The lucky riders may spot the shy wildlife that inhabits the
desert area such as Desert Fox, Sand Fish and Desert Monitor Lizard
locally known as ‘Dubh’. The dunes in the area of ‘Al
Faya’ are taller than ‘Big Red’ and we climb one of the
dunes to ride to Camel Rock, so known because of its camel shaped rock
formation. Savour the contrasting scenery and its bizarre rock formations.
From Camel Rock we ride through few unnamed rock formations on to
‘Jebel Maleihah’ popularly known as the ‘Fossil
Rock’ because of millions of years old marine fossils found on its
slopes. It is fun to search for the fossils here which are also easy to
find. The sand in this area has a rich orange-red color and the dunes are
a spectacular sight in the afternoon. Enjoy panoramic vistas of the Dubai
desert from the top of the Fossil rock. Later head back along the power
line maintenance off road track back to Al Awir.

This extreme adventure trip involves off- road desert ATV riding in the
Dubai
desert. Experienced and professional ATV off-road guide will lead the ATV
exploration convoy in the Dubai desert. Safety equipment provided is listed
under inclusions mentioned above and back-up SUV also carries First
–aid box and refreshment supplies required for the
trip.

Dress-Code:
Dress
comfortably in loose fitting clothes. Long trousers are best with sneakers
or trainers. We suggest you bring a spare set of clothes and a towel as
you might wish to change clothes after the experience. Applying good
quality sunscreen especially in summers is recommended.
Photography:
Normal tourist photography is acceptable, but it is
considered offensive to photograph Arab women. It is also courteous to ask
permission before photographing men. Photographs of government buildings
or military installations are not allowed.
